THE PURPOSE OF THE GROUP
The purpose of the group is to make it easier for these "Key Members" to contact each other, to work together and collaborate, even when they can't meet in person: -
- All members of the network can create smaller networks for specific purposes, like a community group, or street festival, simply by setting up the group and inviting others to join it. LinkedIn users will be familiar with the process. The only difference is that the network uses software specifically designed to publish and share information between both members and the community.
- The Eastern Suburbs Network is a private network within the umbrella "Our Big Network". The larger network is public and anyone can join it free of charge, to share information with the "Whole World".
- Private networks lets people share confidential information and public networks let people share information with everyone. For example a football club can have a private network to share information about training, tactics and strategy, and a public network to let the whole community know about their big wins.
- Your one user profile can join as many groups, both large and small, as you wish.

- Each public, or private group can have its own rules. Public groups are free to join.
