MAY 2025 WORKSHOP - MEMBERS' ACTIVITY UPDATE
Many thanks to all the people who attended our last meeting on 14th May 2025. Here are things we have put in place as a result of the meeting: -
This is a reference document to outline a framework of how Eastern Suburbs Collaborative is developing.
- A new sign up procedure: -
- New members can now directly start sharing news online Click Here
(Once off payment of $75 for 6 months membership - Benefits as above) - Existing financial members can join the publishing platform FOR FREE Click Here
- These changes mean that members can keep each other up to date between meetings
- We will be running training courses and workshops for people who wish to take part in them
- Ghassan El-Hajj has kindly offered to create a free 30 second video for everyone who attended
- Dinner for two at the InterContinental - Value $250 for 1st 3 people to recruit 10 new members
- The Collaborative needs volunteers to help it grow. Can include members and non-members
- All members are actively encouraged to bring guests to meetings and recruit new members
- Members will be asked to show their Membership Goldcards when attending workshops
- Members can appear in the June front page promotion for $250 instead of $365
- Members receive a $50 Advertising Credit for each new members they recruit
- For a short time 7 new members will secure a free half page of advertising
- All members are asked to nominate a charity they wish to support
- Members are invited to join existing projects and start their own
- The Founding Chapter will continue to grow to 120 Members
- Following that new members will start the 2nd Chapter

We are able to help all these projects because we run the Eastern Suburbs Life community paper.
The collaborative covers the area from Sydney Harbour to Botany Bay and is home to: -
Most importantly, the Collaborative is built on Australian values of "Mateship" and a "Fair Go". It’s about supporting each other, sharing opportunities, and making the Eastern Suburbs a stronger, more connected place to live and work.
Whether you're a business, a local community organization, or just someone looking to get involved, this is your invitation to be part of something bigger!
