ONE DIRECTORY MANY COMMUNITIES
Organisations are run by people and people belong to many communities, the suburb in which they're based,
the wider area they service, the kind of customers they attract, their organisation type, Business
Charity, Not For Profit, Government Body or Community Group.
Eastern Suburbs Directories is more than just a directory,
it's a community building relational database that lets members create their
own communities. Your business provides services for over 55's, but it also sponsors the
local football team and helps out at the school fete, or church bazar, or local community street festival.
So it not only lets you join existing communities, it also lets you set up your own communities, one for your local
shopping centre, or smaller suburb. That means it's a Dynamic Directory, designed to support
local communities, not just a Static Directory that looks only to get business.
In addition it's been created by Eastern Suburbs Life, a local
Hard Copy community paper that's been running since 2014. A paper that's distributed
between Sydney Harbour and Botany Bay and one that's focused on sharing local community news
and helping Small Businesses and Local Charities. The directory is structured so that everyone can take part.
In addition we are able to help members share information with the community and also promote the directory itself.
